Run a whole calendar from one place, with series pricing, memberships and participant data connected across every event and season.

Barefoot takes entries for race series, clubs and memberships across Australia and New Zealand. It runs series pricing, bundles and memberships, and connects participant data across every event and season, so running a whole calendar is as simple as running one event.

A series or club isn’t running one event, it’s running a relationship with a community across a season. The pain is fragmentation: setting up each event from scratch, pricing bundles by hand, and losing sight of who’s turning up across the calendar because the data sits in separate silos. Memberships, series discounts and returning-participant recognition are the whole point, and most registration tools treat every event as a standalone. Series and clubs reward a platform that connects the calendar and keeps the community in one place.

Both, if the rounds are built as a linked series. Each round is set up as its own event, then a series entry bundles them, so a member can buy the full season in one transaction or enter round by round as the calendar suits them. Field limits, categories and custom questions stay attached to each round. Decide before entries open whether the series price closes after round one, because late series buyers create the most admin.
Only if the rounds are linked as a series inside the same system. Where they are, each round’s results feed a running standings table members can check between rounds, with rules like a minimum number of rounds completed or a best-of count applied automatically. Where rounds sit in separate events, or in a separate timing system, someone maintains standings in a spreadsheet. That is where most points disputes start.
Three methods are common. A club or membership link on the entry form applies the discount automatically to anyone on the club’s member list. Promo codes issued to members do the same job manually. A member-only entry category hides the price from the public altogether. The automatic member list is the least work across a season, because nobody has to police codes or refund members who forgot to use one.
Yes, on most platforms. A season rollover or event duplicate copies categories, pricing, custom questions and terms into the new season, leaving you to update dates and prices. Ask specifically whether it also copies waivers, merchandise options and member discounts, since those are the settings most often missed. Rolling over also keeps last season’s entrant list intact for renewal emails, which is usually worth more than the setup time saved.
Yes, though the clean break is between seasons. Mid-season, the sequence that works is to export the existing entrant list, build and test the new round forms, then close the old form and open the new one the same day so no entries are lost in the gap. Expect to reformat the export to match the new system’s column headers. Confirm up front that your current provider will release the full entrant list.
Work with people who get the pace, pressure, and precision of endurance events and build platforms that match it.
